New rule: people young enough that they could be my biological children (at, say, age 33, to pick a number) don’t get to call themselves old.

So what exactly did you take for your constipation?

First of all, what Sam said! You could be my kid - age wise. My youngest is 35! So go easy on yourself, and believe me when I tell you, a woman in her 30s is only beginning to realize herself. 40? You betcha! So don't despair. As far as censoring yourself goes... you know what I say! Fuck shame, and be yourself. You're smart, interesting and are making great progress in this whole "higher self" and giving yourself permission to be you. Love, Virg

Interesting perception isn't it? I view your newsletter as the most raw and uncensored thing out there. Yet you worry you 'people please' too much. Neither is a 'right' view just opinions. But the free flow in which you feel confident enough to own, change and rock the use of 4 letter words alone - sets you apart, and I don't think it's anywhere near the 'deferential' section of the supermarket aisles (if such things existed).

Needing to let go is the story of my life. Relate. Sending love.

Sometimes control is so out of control we don’t realise how out of control control can be. So why not just let that be and party like your about to be 33?

If you are freaking about turning 33 wait until you turn 50. Now we may not be able to control turning a certain number. But we can control how we are going to do that.

Happy early birthday Megan
